Welcome to Year 1! We have really enjoyed getting to know the children and helping to settle them into their new classroom. It has been great to find out all of the exciting facts and news from home that have been shared with us. Together we have explored our new environments and agreed on expectations for the coming year. The Autumn term holds lots of fantastic learning opportunities, beginning with our new topic ‘Childhood’.

The staff in Year 1 would like to extend a big thank you to parents and carers for your efforts in ensuring your children come to school with the correct uniform each day. All of the children look very smart! It would be very helpful if all items of uniform could be named please so that we can ensure any misplaced clothing can be returned to its rightful owner. Thank you for your support with this.
