Our School
Our school is a vibrant learning community dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where each child feels valued and empowered to grow. We strive to achieve not only academic excellence but also the development of character, creativity, and curiosity. With a team of passionate educators and a commitment to engaging and memorable learning experiences, we aim to inspire lifelong learning and foster respect, kindness, and responsibility in every student. At De Havilland, we prepare our children to thrive in an ever-changing world, building a foundation for success both in school and beyond. We pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our children, parents, staff and governors and embrace the challenge of working with our community to make societal improvements.
Over the past four years, our school has been on a remarkable journey. On the 1st October 2020, we were delighted to become the first primary school to join the Danes Educational Trust. Then, in September 2023, we were proud to achieve a good Ofsted rating. With a remarkably dedicated and compassionate staff team, we have high aspirations for the next chapter of our journey.
The intention of our website is to provide a flavour of the rich and varied learning that our children experience and enjoy, and to provide key information about the school and ways in which to support your child. You can get a taste of life at De Havilland in our video below.
We hope that you enjoy your visit and that you find what you are looking for. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything else you need, if you have questions to ask or if you would like to visit. We are always here to listen and support.
