Fantásticas clases de español

On Monday 27th February a selection of Students from Bishops Girls School came in to teach us some Spanish.  When they came in, they sat down and set up some challenges for us. One of the teachers from Bishops shouted out “listen up children”.  She asked us to move group by group to each girl.

One of the groups played bingo but in Spanish. She had to call out all the countries in English and if we had all the countries in Spanish we shouted BINGO!!!!

Another one of the groups drew clothes on a human and labelled what clothes were called in Spanish.

In the next group, we learnt about Spanish festivals and what sort of fruit we would have during the festival, we also learnt what the fruit was called in Spanish.

There was another group where the children had to count in Spanish and stamp your feet as well as counting at the same time.

In the fifth group, we had to match the pictures with the words and instead of them telling us we had to work it out or give an accurate guess.

In the last group, we had to try and match our body parts in Spanish with body parts labelled in English.

It was so much fun. Thank you for coming and teaching us!!
