De Havilland’s Grounds Day
A big thank you to all of our Children, Staff and Parents who helped support our very first Grounds Day. Children from Nursery all the way up to Year 6 helped to prepare our grounds for the winter months ahead. The children enjoyed demonstrating a wide range of skills including, team work, digging, weeding, clearing and sorting rubbish by recycling. We also found a few creatures along the way including frogs, worms and a hedgehog. The children’s behaviour was impeccable throughout the day and through great team work and determination we have now improved our schools outdoor learning environment. A big thank you to Miss Sorano who organised the day. We all look forward to our next one in Spring 2017!
